The Large Herds of Elephants at Taragire National Park

Elephants at Tarangire National Park in Tanzania, cross the stree while we are filming and photographing this fantastic scene. This is not an uncommon scene. On the contrary, Tarangire is famous for offering a spectacular view of his herds of elephants. Here you can find large families walking with their calves. This video was taken during one of our safaris in December 2007.

Lion´s Mating Ritual

We took this video during the last day of our safari. After we had almost given up the idea of spotting more lions. On the way back from Tarangire to Gibb´s farm. The mating ritual of lions is fascinating. The couple spends a period of about two weeks, together. The number of intercourses increases every day. At the climax of this ritual, a mating happens every five minutes. During the "honeymoon" period, the male lion does not eat anything. He gets very week and vulnerable to the attck of other lions, that might wish to conquer his partner. In case two lions fight for the same female, the fight will end with the death of one of the two. Cruel, but true.
